Éco Entreprises Québec’s (ÉEQ) mandate is to cooperate with municipalities and RECYC-QUÉBEC to increase quantities of recovered materials at the lowest possible cost. Now that Efficiency and Effectiveness (E&E) factors have been included in the Regulation respecting compensation for municipal services provided to recover and reclaim residual materials, municipalities have every reason to control their management costs.

ÉEQ spares no effort in seeking to reduce the net costs of services that contributing companies are required to compensate. The organization therefore plays an active role in developing best practices that ensure municipal curbside recycling services are efficiency managed.
