The 2010, 2011 and 2012 Schedules of Contributions will come into force on April 11, 2012

According to the latest information from the Ministère du Développement durable, de l'Environnement et des Parcs (MDDEP), the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Schedule of ContributionsThe Schedule of Contributions is made up of the application rules, which govern (1) obligation terms, (2) the definition of designated materials, (3) parameters for Company Reports, and (4) administrative terms relating to contribution payments. The Schedule of Contributions also includes a contribution table, which allocates the annual amount of compensation due for a given class of materials (e.g. containers and packaging) and its various component materials (e.g. glass, metal, plastic, cardboard, etc.).

are expected to be published in the Gazette officielle du Québec on April 11, 2012, and will officially come into force on that date.

Consequently, you will need to submit your 2010 and 2011 Company Reports by July 10, 2012, while your 2012 report must be submitted by October 8, 2012.

Please note that all data entered for the 2010 report will be automatically copied over for the 2011 report, as the reference year, i.e. 2010, is the same. New access codes will be generated for all authorized registered contacts to access the system. Watch your incoming e-mails closely next week because your new codes will be sent to your personal attention along with a reminder of your company number and username.

You will be able to personalize your access codes by going to the "My Profile" menu on ECO D's home page. However, any codes you decide on will need to be formatted according to security criteria.
