ÉEQ RELEASES A NEW AD CAMPAIGN FEATURING SPOKESPERSON ÉRIC SALVAIL

Don’t miss it!
ÉEQ will release a new wave of publicity featuring Quebecers’ favourite TV host, Éric Salvail, during the 15th edition of Quebec Waste Reduction Week, which runs from October 17 to 25, 2015.

While the first ad campaign in the spring demystified the various steps of materials recovery, this second wave will focus on companies’ financial contribution to curbside recycling.

Four web capsules on curbside recycling financing, contributing companies, ecodesign and the role played by municipalities will also be promoted via the web, social media and public relations.

Be among the first to see it tonight at 10 p.m. during the En Mode Salvail show on V channel.

Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ) is the organization that develops the Schedule of Contributions and collects company contributions, which are then redistributed to finance municipal and curbside collection services in Quebec. ÉEQ also encourages innovation and best practices in order to optimize the recyclable materials value chain. To do so, ÉEQ cooperates with companies to reduce quantities of materials at the source and encourage the use of recyclable materials, as well as with municipalities and other stakeholders to increase recycling and the economic value of recovered materials.

ÉEQ is a private non-profit organization created by companies that put containers, packaging and printed matter on Quebec’s market to represent them. The organization was accredited by RECYC-QUÉBEC in 2005 in accordance with the Environment Quality Act.
