, Jean-Charles Ferland (on board since April 2012), Coordinator, Compliance and Audit, and a new Coordinator, Member Services, (this position is currently being staffed).

ÉEQ’s Technical Services is also undergoing changes and, going forward, will be dedicated to developing tools and state-of-the-art expertise in the curbside recycling value chain, more specifically the upstream optimization of containers, packaging and printed matter and, downstream, of the system to collect, sort and condition recyclable materials. With her extensive experience in developing knowledge and indispensable models for continually improving processes related to curbside recycling optimization, Marina Pietrosel will continue her mandate at the head of Technical Services with a mission to broaden its scope of action and enhance the effect of its activities.

Finally, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Hugo Lapointe as Director, Administrative Services and Finance. After only two years with ÉEQ, Mr. Lapointe’s dedication and expertise has enabled ÉEQ to consolidate its administrative and financial services to meet the highest quality standards in the field.

We are confident that these positive changes will provide the organization with the tools to meet the requirements and challenges of its mandate, both with regard to its role as a financing organization and the cutting-edge expertise and leadership it has developed over the years.
