DO GOOD, DO GREEN
CONDITIONS FOR COMPANY USE OF TRADEMARKS
As an obligated company that markets containers, packaging or printed matter made of paper, carton, plastic, glass or metal, it attests that it has met its obligations with regard to the compensation plan to reimburse municipalities for the cost of curbside recycling programs. The company also confirms that it has paid its contribution to Éco Entreprises Québec.
In this regard, the company commits to respecting the entirety of the graphic standards defined in the “Graphic Standards Manual – Campaign awareness images developed for ÉEQ members” when using trademarks and materials developed for the campaign, which are all under copyright. The company agrees to use the materials solely in connection with the recovery of recyclable materials (paper, carton, plastic, glass and metal) through curbside recycling.
The company also agrees that it will not alter or forge the trademarks in any way whatsoever. Further, the company will not act or use the trademarks and materials in any way that could damage the awareness campaign for which they were developed and made available for the use of companies according to the conditions stated in these paragraphs and the applicable Graphics Standards Manual, or could damage the reputation and goodwill related to the trademarks, or damage RECYC-QUÉBEC (owner of the trademarks and property rights) or one of its partners (Éco Entreprises Québec, the Fédération québécoise des municipalités locales et régionales(FMQ), RecycleMédias and the Union des municipalités du Québec).
The company recognizes RECYC-QUÉBEC as the owner of the trademarks and property rights associated with the awareness campaign.
