ÉEQ is pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Andrée Prénoveau as Director of Corporate Affairs, External Relations and Communications. This position was created following the adoption of the organization’s 2010-2012 strategic plan.

ÉEQ’s mission, which is to represent companies which are subject to the Environment Quality Act with regard to their responsibility to finance the net costs of municipal curbside recycling, has been expanded over the past few years to include an increasing number of mandates that require sustained visibility and involvement with the public.  

To properly fulfil these varied mandates, the members of ÉEQ’s Board of Directors and management have brought on-board Marie-Andrée Prénoveau, a professional with broad experience spanning twenty years in the fields of communications and institutional relations in both companies and agencies.

Before joining ÉEQ, Ms. Prénoveau held a management position for eight years in the communications offices of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. During her career, she acquired in-depth understanding of legal, financial and strategic issues.

Her expertise in the development of innovative communications tools and public relations management as well as her relational and motivational abilities will be extremely helpful to ÉEQ’s management.
