Food Packaging: Issues and Opportunities...

At the end of 2007, a strategic committee mandated Zins Beauchesne et associés to conduct a diagnosis of food packaging in Quebec. Members of that committee were:

• the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ)
• the Council of Food Processing and Consumer Products
• Investissement Québec
• Lassonde inc.
• Alliance pour l’innovation en agroalimentaire
• Groupe CCT

The diagnosis provides a picture of the food packaging sector, documents the challenges food companies face with regard to packaging, highlights the main trends in packaging and proposes avenues for developing the food packaging sector.
