RECOGNITION PROGRAM  update 2009-12-14

The Greener Containers, Packaging and Printed Matter: Today's Reality, Today's Opportunities! Recognition Program was developed by Éco Entreprises Québec in April 2009 to showcase companies and organizations that develop or market more environmentally-friendly containers, packaging and printed matter by making the 4Rs a priority (reduce, reuse, recycle, recover).

Exemplary companies were selected by an independent committee of experienced persons who work for educational institutions, government bodies, research organizations, industry associations and designers in Quebec.

Winners of the Recognition Program were honoured in the presence of the Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks, Line Beauchamp, during the Producing and Consuming in a New Way Symposium held on October 19 and 20, 2009, during Quebec's 2009 Waste Reduction Week.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2009 WINNERS!
