Company Consultation  | update 2010-09-16

The Environment Quality Act (EQA) adopted on 2002 establishes a compensation plan  requiring targeted companies and organizations to pay municipalities up to 50% of the net costs of curbside recycling programs. Targeted companies and organizations are presented here. In accordance with Article 53.31.14 of the EQA, the rules governing company contributions, also known as ''Schedule of Contributions'', must be submitted to targeted companies and organizations for consultation.

The Board of Directors therefore adopts a company consultation program for each schedule of contributions. The consultation process proposed must be transparent and reach the greatest possible number of concerned persons so that they can be fully informed and consulted at each stage, leading to the adoption and taking effect of the Schedule of Contributions for any given obligation year.
