SPECIAL CONSULTATION – 2009 SCHEDULE OF CONTRIBUTIONS

You are invited to register for one of the three special consultation meetings ÉEQ will be organizing specifically on the 2009 Schedule of Contributions. The meetings will be held in Québec City, Montréal and Toronto to allow the greatest number of companies to obtain information, ask questions and comment on the methodology used to develop the Schedule of Contributions. Can’t make it to the meeting site? The meeting held in Montréal will be audio broadcast and simultaneously translated.

The recent Quebec government shuffle resulted in staffing changes at the Ministère du Développement durable, de l’environnement et des Parcs, which will affect the timing of the study and adoption of Bill 88 amending the Environment Quality Act and compensation plan that will apply beginning with the 2010 Schedule of Contributions. Therefore, the previously mentioned possibility of discussing three Schedules of Contributions is highly unlikely and has now been shelved.

ONE MONTH LEFT TO SUBMIT YOUR REPORT!

October 5, 2010, is the deadline for submitting your 2008 Company Report. Thereafter, you will have one month to pay your contribution within prescribed deadlines, i.e. until November 4, 2010.
