Technical Notice on Shopping Bags: Environmental Impact Assessment

Coming in second after reusable bags, the traditional plastic bag is the most environmentally-friendly option. That is the main conclusion RECYC-QUÉBEC came to after analyzing the findings of the Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec’s review of lifecycle analyses reported in international studies on various types of shopping bags.
