Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ) welcomes you to its website. As a private non-profit organization certified in June 2005, ÉEQ represents companies that market ''containers and packaging'' and ''printed matter'' in Québec.

If your company or organization

  • manufactures products under its name, brand or distinguishing guise
  • has a retail establishment in Québec
  • is a small business, an association, a non-profit organization or a service provider
  • generates packaging, containers or printed matter carrying your brand,

you are subject to the Environment Quality Act and must contribute to 50% of the net costs of municipal curbside recycling according to the type and quantity of materials you provide to consumers.
